Once again it is Friday and this is probably the last time of the school year that I write in my Free-Write Friday blog. This week has not really been hard, but I am really excited because there is such a little time left until school ends. I think there are only nine days left until our summer begins, but that does not include the weekend. Today we are going to dissect a squid. Then we are going to eat it. I am so glad that I brought seasoning because then I think that I will not like it if it tastes really bland. This is my first time trying Calamari, that is the special name for the squid wants it is cooked.
This week we did not have school on Monday, but that meant we had no late start yesterday. So that was kin of sad. This week we had been taking the new District Task. It has to do with the common core stuff they want to do with us now. I really did not like it. I mean we already have enough with the CST and now they want to give us another thing. I am really looking forward to the summer. I feel like I have never been happier to leave school. There is so little time left of school. I am going to make this school year a year that I will never remember.
I hope that I keep writing in this website after school is out, but I think that I will write about other things in my next year. This year has really been great. My family has been there for me throughout this whole year supporting me in both the bad and good times. I have met all lot of great people, and they are now my friends. There are many great 7th grade teachers that really know hot to make a class a good environment like Mr. Aberele, Erickson, and Mrs. Baird. All the teachers are great though.
It is once again Friday. This week has gone by really fast and I am really looking forward to the weekend. This week has been really fun on Monday I did not have a lot of homework because the next day would be the zoo trip. On Tuesday we went to the zoo. That day was really fun and I was so glad that we went. That was probably the best experience of school. On Wednesday school and life was like usual. On Thursday I was so happy that it was late start. Also we started the Virtual Dissection on the computers. That was really fun.
I am really looking to the weekend. Especially since we are having a three day weekend. Finally my mom will be able to rest and so will my family except my dad because he has to work. I really do not like my dad to work a lot . Anyway I am so happy because I am going to go to a party on Saturday and I need to wake up really early. Also on Sunday I am not going to do any homework. I am certain I am going to have a good weekend. I am going to sleep a lot and relax.
This week has been so fun and awesome. I am so glad we are done with CST testing because now I do not have to worry about it. It is like a pile of rocks taken off my chest. Yesterday was my birthday and I felt really special. It was day that I will never be able to forget. I had so much fun with my friends and my family. The best part was that I was happy and that I was surrounded with everybody that I love. The best part of yesterday was the whole entire day of gifts, hugs, and all those "happy birthdays" everybody gave me. When I woke my birthday had really started. The good thing was that it was Thursday, so I was able to sleep in a little bit more and go to school a little late. When I woke up my dad was about to leave for work. I saw him and he came to me and hugged me really tight. He said, "Feliz Cumpleanos mi nina." He gave me a rose and then he left for work. Then I woke up so that I can get ready, and when I went to the kitchen I found a poster that said Happy Birthday in Spanish with my dad's handwriting and there was another flower. Both flowers smelled really nice, their aroma was wonderful.T hen as all my family was waking up they all came up to me and told me happy birthday and they hugged. After school I came back and found that my mom had made many of my favorite things like pozole, Gelatina, and Flan. It looked really nice, and the whole
I am so happy that it is Friday. It has been a very weird, tiring, and stressful week. All that CST testing has had my brain fried, and I am so tired. I have still gotten homework , this week so I am not fully freed of homework. Anyway I am truly glad that it is Friday. I have Cornell notes that are due Monday that I still have to do, that is practically all my homework. I am really excited my birthday is really close. Anyway, next week will be fairly the same, except that it will be the last week of testing.
I think that I am going to do much better in the Algebra CST, than the ELA CST. I always do better in math than ELA, that is because for me it is faster and easier to learn math than ELA, because I did not always speak good English. I am really going to take this weekend as a break and relax, so that I am ready for next week. I hope that I did well in the CST for English, that way the district people know how smart I am. I hope I did good because that will open so many good doors and opportunities in the future. Can't wait to get done with testing next week for good.
This week has been very tiring and tough for me. It will also be like that for two more weeks because of all those CST tests. I do need some well deserved days to rest and relax. Saturday and Sunday will be fun days for me. Anyway I am happy today because of so many things. Well first of all, I got a good grade on my computers project. I am so proud of myself. Also, tomorrow we may be traveling to somewhere far. I really do enjoy when we have long trips with my family, it all just seems much funner and better. On Sunday it is May 5th, or as Latinos or Mexicans know it as 5 De Mayo.
It is a celebration called El Grito de La Independencia. It is the day in which Mexico got its freedom. Most Mexican families really enjoy these kinds of celebrations. In honor to this great freedom many places have big festivals or parades for people of all over the place to come watch. One great place to be in May 5th, would be the Foulten Mall. There will be food, Spanish groups singing, and so much more. I can't wait until the end of the day, there will be so much fun. Also I do not have a lot of homework. So, I am planning to have fun and enjoy my weekend.
It is finally the end of the week, and I am really looking forward to going home and sleeping. This week has been a little busy. The good thing is that it all past fairly quickly. Anyway yesterday, was Open House at our school. I was really looking forward to going to open house because I wanted to show my parents and family all the great work that I have worked so hard on. It was great although I left very fast. This was because I still had not done my homework, my sister still had a lot of homework to do, and not all my teachers were here for Open House.
Anyway I showed my parents the school. I went to my Spanish class and I showed them some work that I had done that was put on the wall, because it was a good example. My teacher gave really good comments about me. In my core class I introduced my family to my teacher and then I showed them some of the poems I had done. After that we looked for My Renaissance poster and some of the photos the teacher had taken of us. We then went to my Algebra Class, and I showed them where my Cheerios Box was hung. After that we went to my Computers class and I showed them all of my Digital Portfolio. All my teachers said good things about me and my parents were really proud of me. I hope I stay such a good student here at Computech.
I am so glad that it is Friday. Last weekend I did so many fun things, even though I had so much homework last time. I did not get it done all on Friday or Saturday because those were the days that were really fun. Last Friday, my mom's best friend that she had not seen in a long time came over to our house. I had to take care of this little kid that kept doing bad things. He jumped on my bed so many times, I kept getting him off the bed, and he just kept getting back up. There was also this little girl that was very adorable, my sister and I had to play with her barbies, babies, and we did bracelets and necklaces.
My brother and I also played with the oldest o them. He wanted to play cars so that was what we did. We all had fun, but at the end oft the day I was so tired. On Saturday my family and I went to my cousin's birthday party. My Cousin was barely turning 7 years old. In her party their was a very big jump house, and even some adults were able to get in with us. That was so much fun. The cake was great, and we did dance and even sing throughout the party. I had a great weekend. I was glad that I had so much fun. On Sunday we did not do anything special well at least I do not remember. I hop that my Weekend this week will be just as great or even much better if it is possible. Let my awesome weekend start today after school!
It is almost break, and I have been having a very good day so far. I did not get a lot of homework over the break, so that is very good. I am going to have a lot of fun this week. I am going to sleep a lot so that I have a good rest. I am also going to read a lot so that I can have some books read for my reading genre list. I hope that I will get at least one book read, that would really help me in the next quarter.
I am so excited for Easter, I want to get a lot of eggs and candy. I also want to spend a lot of time with my brother and family, since I usually don't in the weekdays because of my homework and stuff. I am going to play with my little brother because he is so cute and I love him a lot as well as the rest of my family. I think that it is very nice when we have breaks because I can spend time with my family, and that is very important to me.
This spring break I am going to have a lot of fun. Resting and having to relax is also very good for me during breaks like this because I stress out so much. Even more than I should, and that gets to be a health problem sometimes. Anyway I can'y wait until the end of the day so that I can go home and have my fun begin. Have a good Spring Break, everyone. I know I will try to make this a very good Spring Break, so that I will not forget it. I am so excited I can hardly wait to be off school for a week. I am so happy and I know that my family is too. So we are going to let the fun begin tomorrow.
I am so glad that it is Friday. I sure do need the rest, but I am going to be really busy doing homework for so many classes. That is so stressful, kids shouldn't have be stressed out about school, but I am. That is very bad, too because it causes me some kind of chest pains and I also get really nervous. Anyway today I have so much homework, and I am going to try to finish it today.
I am happy that my spanish teacher Mr. Aberele did not give us homework, that will save me a lot of time. On the bus ride home today I am going to try to finish my algebra homework. It is a lot, I think that it is about 3 or 4 pages of word problems that we have to solve by factoring. Then for core I have to read for my genre list. I only need 1 and a half left to finish all my genre list. So, that is good. That means I will be able to choose the books that I read for the rest of the quarter.
I also have to work on my Hall of Fame Poster for Core. The person that I am doing is Martin Luther because almost nobody does it on him. Then for Science I have 17 pages to do on my IR book. Finally for P.E I have to do a research project. Oh my, that is a lot of work. I hope I get it done today.
This is the week after our spring break, and I am really happy it is Friday again. This was only four day, but it seemed much more than that. These days for me have been going by really slow. I had a lot of fun during my Spring Break. I did a lot of stuff, but I mainly relaxed and rested. In school I do not get to relax it is pretty much just work, talk, and homework. That is not so fun. I did read a little while I had free time or when we went on long trips. As a result I already finished reading two book and I am half-way through another book.
I had a lot of fun playing with my little brother and the puppies. I did play a lot outside and helped my mom and dad with anything they needed help with. My whole family got together for Easter. Therefore, there were many eggs with a variety of candy. I really enjoyed this break because I got to do things that I usually don't get to fo during school, I can't wait until school is out or our next day off. Spring Break was very nice, especially with my family together.
