There are mant parts in a cell but I am only naming three of them. They are the cell membrane, the vacule, and the nucleus. The cell membrane is like a fence that helps protect the cell from what is coming in  and going out.The veacule id like a storage tank it stores water, food and nutrition. The nucleus is is the most important part of the cell because it is the main organelle it is like the brain of the cell.
The reason that I think these are important may vary from other people or other students. I think that the cell membrane is important to the cell because it protects the cell from bad things that want to enter the cell and without it the cells might get destroyed by the bad things. The vacule is also important because it stores the body's water, food and nutrition. The nucleus is also important because it is like the  main powerhouse of the cell so that means it is very important to the cell. Actually it is like the cell's brain.

At first when they started measuring the rats their bodies were 7.7 mm. Their heads were 3.6 if I am correct. When they are first born the rats don't have any hair and they are blind so they have to get evrything from thier mother and they are also very dependable of their mother becaseu she gives them food and does almost all of what they need for them because they are not able to see or do anything on their own fort he first 4 weeks.
When they are approximatly 2 weeks of age they are barely opening their eyes and trying their mom's food. That means that they hadn't been eating much of other food except maybe milk. While most animals are beginning to see they tend to wonder and move a lot more then they had when they were not able to see. That is why they might not be always by the mother nursing, but wondering and roaming aroung their cages.

You know your cells are working even if you don't feel cellular activity because if they were not working you would have been weak or dead by now. It is really common sense if you take time to understand it because all living cells have cells and they have different jobs. If you did not have cells you would not be a living thing or you would not react to cahnges in the enviroment. Another thing why you do not fell cellular activity, is because they are too small to be felt and seen but they are there working, getting nutrition, making your muscels and some are even protecting you inces you get sick. So, just becasue you do not fell cellular activity in your body, that does not mean that your cells are not working, becasue they certainly are and they are doing there jobs inside your body without you really feeling it or noticing it. So the next time you think of cells you will  know that they are working and you ae not feeling them, but for a reason. Another main reason is that  if they weren't working then you wouldn't be feeling well because the chemicla stuuf in your body would not have been leaving your body and otyher stuuf that the cells do would not be done!!

I look a lot like my dad and mom, that is because I inherted traits from both my parents. I am short I am actually 4 feet 8 inches, and other people are tall or medium sized. I have really dark brown eyes and hair that is brown and straight. I also have a round face and a small nose. My ears are medium and I am a dark skin color. I think I inherted many traits from my mom, but mostly from my dad! My eyes are dark just like my grandma's because both my parents have light eyes and my granpa has green eyes. Right now I have my mom's body, she is actually a little taller than me but I am mostly like her. My hair is the same color as my dad's except longer adn with highlights. My hair is straight and my mom's is wavy and sometimes curly, so my hair does not look like her hair at all. My face is round just like my dad's .
I have three more sibling and they all are lighter than me in many ways : hair, eyes, skin ,but my older sister and me look a lot alike. My sisters look a lot like my mom but they also have things like my dad especially height.  I think that I look more like my dad and that my siblings more like my mother but they all have things from them!

When you find the volume of an irregular shape, you have to displace water. The first thing you do, is put water in a graduated cylinder or beacker, in order for you to knoow the volume you have to put in any amount of water that you would like. Then  you have to record the amount of water that you put in at the beginning, lets say it's 20 mL, after that you have to put the irregular shape inside of the water. What yuou do nextis not very hard, you haverecord the water level now. Finally you find the difference of the water of the beginning and the amount of water  at the end and what you get is the volume of that object!

Yesterday, during science class we were learning about  volume. If you are older than 10 you should already have learned the basics of volume, such as the formula for rectangular prisims and cubes, so you might understand.  At first I didn't understand how we were suppose to do it or if I was doing it wrong since we were suppose to measure different objects . My main worry is, better said was, not being able to measure it correctly since every object was different and some papers were not evenly set so I thought I would get the measure wrong by more than 3 millimeters, that might seem a liitle but that is all it takes to make a big diiference in the volume.
Then when she turned us loose, I tried one with my group, which consisted of Tory, Gaberial, and Amber and me. I thought it was preety easy all I had ot do is recheck it a few times and voter with my group to see which one was closer to how we wach saw it. Most of the time I was off by one or two not much ,but it greatly matteres. What helped me the most was trying it myself, but first seeing my other group mates helped a lot because I saw how they did it and I tried to do it myself the correct way ,as they did.I  am very good at  math, I even passed the algebra test so now I'm in algebra the rest I understand so that wasn, it hard at all.
Now I like doing this so ,it is funner than I thought and I get it know, I hardly mess up now that I review it!

This first quarter has already passed, and real fast. I really enjoyed my classes and I am happy with the grades I got, mostly in science. Anyway my favorite activity that we did this quarter for science would have to be the Gum activity in which we had to chew gum in class, (how awsome right) for two minutes than we had to measure its mass using a tirple-beam-balance. We had to do that every two minutes until ten minutes had passed, putting in then back out, in and backout right till the buzzer rang and we wrote every mass that we had gotten in those ten minutes. After we did that we had to graph our answers. What we were suppose to learn was how to use a balance and how to graph. I really enjoyed that activity!
