The discovery of iron changed Africa in many ways. One way was that they made tools for farming which made harvesting faster and easier. It also made better weapons that the armies used which were much harder than wood. Another way was that they were able to trade iron for things such as gold and salt, which back then was worth risking their lives. Anyway it really helped devlope their life skills and tools since the tools were stronger and lasted longer.
One thing made them better because of the iron was because when they farmed and harvested crops it woulg go so much quicker since the iron didn't break as easily nor as fast. That was the reason they started getting more and more food which got them real happy because they were able to have enough food for them and sometimes extra. The tool that they used for that was a farm tool, discovered by Noks.
I think that the hardest place to live in would have to be the desert in Africa. The first reason would be because there is not much water, and the main thing you need to survive is water and if you don't have water you will get dehydrated. It is also very hard to live there because there will be times where sandstorms form, lasting sometimes for hours. What is the most dangerous in this case is that you don't have shelter, it is really hard to survive. Another main thing is food, and sometimes there is scarecly any food to eat and there is enough you may only take a little because you wil want to save some for when you ar e tired or to save it for when you don't have anymore left.
It is also that if you are sick and have a diseace you might die becasue there will bw no one to help you or to cure for at least .
Trade helped Islam spread becuase traders talked about their religion and most people agreed to what the Qu'ran siad and the rules about Islam. One thing that helped Islam spread by trade was that Mecca was a crossroad location so most people couls come to trade from other places and that meant that there was so amny people trading and staying in Mecca, that it was a good apportunity about telling the people that came to trade about Islam and what kind of rules it was devoting to.
Another thing that helped Islam spread was that it was a peninsula, that meant you could travel thereby land or by sea and that also attracted a lot of traders. The main thing was that when someone came to trade they alos traded ideas and ways of thinking . So that meant that the people that talked to each other also talked about religion, so they traded ideas of hot their religions were and so people converted and became Muslims.
I think that from the five pillars of Islam would be the pilgrimage to Mecca. I think it is hard and even dangerous, when the crowd is realy excited. I think that is dangerous and hard because in core we watched a video where three Muslims were going to Mecca and I saw that there were many dificulties and things that I never thought would happen in Mecca.
There was a part in where they were discriminating the South American Muslims and the woman becasue she looked different than them, what sadness to go to your worshiping place to worship your god and have people tell you , that you are not form that religion because you look different! Another thing that I noticed was that there is a lot of traffic and it takes so long to get there. It is also said that people are crashed and killed in crowds when people are passing by or running to th Ka'baa!
Muhhamad was a great man. He created the religion, Islam! He was also a very nice man that helped the poor and taugh the new Muslims how to live, what was what they had to do to live happy and what to do, and how they had to worship their only god, Allah. I think Muhammad told his followers good things, and I think people wanted to hear his teaching for many reasons! Maybe one reason was that they wanted to hear what the god wanted them to do, opr maybe that was they were waiting to be told, but with wiser concepts and better ways to live! They could have also wanted to live happier and with someone to worship that believed in them and that taught them to do the right thing.
As I walk out of my home I see my uncle, he has been trying to convince my parents to let me go with him to the desert to trede.The problem is that I am not sure if I want to go, I heve been curius of what is all around me and how things work not inside of town. Maybe I am actually looking for an adventure and I have it right here the appourtunity will come again once more if my uncle decides to ask for my company in his caravans, but it will be a lot different maybe I will not go with the desir or maybe with a lot more, but then again I will not know if I don't try, even if I try going with him this time .
As he comes near me he has a huge smile across his face, maybe he was hoping I would say, yes, but I know I will disappoint him.....not that I want to, but I think I am not ready.Plus, there is acouple of disadvanteges and things that get make me scared even though my uncle will be there to protect me and tell me what to do and what not. One disatvanage is that I will be away from my family and I am a very shy girl that will get homesick very fast, so I do not want to miss my family that easily nor have my uncle get home early, just because I could not last some days without my family.Another big problem is if we do not get enough to eat, I know that he will have enough for us, but what I do not know is if the food is going to last and not rotten or go to waist because of the heat.
Water is also a problem for me, I drink a lot of water and go to the restroom a lot, and I am not used to just drinking a little bit of water or going to the restroom at a specific time, so that maybe a problem becuase we would have to stop so many times so I can have my needs done. From all of these problems the biggest one would be I would get really tired and bored becasue it would be my first time and I would not know what to do so yeah.
I think that it would be a really good trip and that I would see many cool things, but I do not think I would last much.Anyway my uncle said afetr I explained to him all that, that it was okay, although I know he was disappointed, he understood that I was just not ready, maybe when I am older I told him and with that he left with his dear camels and I went inside thinkig throug what I had rejected, but all through my heart I knew that I had done the right thing! I would not wanted to disappoint him when we were already there and he saw that I was not enjoying it. At least he left knowing how I felt !!!
Digital life has helped me learn a lot of thing like computer software and what kind of thing will make my computer have viruse like one virus called malware. There are thing I didn't know like that you need to change your password and not have so many information in your internet sites like, Facebook, Twitter and many other sites thet you might be sharing information with.
The first section that I did was about what kind of computers fit what you need and what kind of software you should get according to your neccisity, and what kind of things that you do. For example I did not know that when things start popping up multiple times that it might be a virus or that it may be a diferent kind of malware because there are so many other malware out there and you might not know that it is affecting your computer. The second section was about how to tell your friends and yourself not to drive or text while your driving, it may be the cause of your death or an accident that kills someone else, not only that, but it is illegal in amny countries to talk or text while driving so make the effort to at least make less accidents.
The third one, talk about how kids sometimes send things that are inappropriate and then they send it to their friends and their freinds send it to their friends and it keeps going. The thing they don't know is know how many people are viewing the picture or how many people got it that you don't know then they start texting you for more pictures like that, how creepy right? Then don't do stuff like that and do not sent things that you would not let your parents read.
The fourth one was about plagerizing and copying things from the internet and making them look as if they were yours, maybe your copying and pasting from sites that you think will all make you a beautiful and pleasant nontroubleling essay, you think it will be an easy A, wrong it can lead to major punishments and it may even ruin your reputation. So think twice about what you do, it will catch up to you in the future!!!
During core class last week we did a simulation and I was the province of Greece. I had to sell marble to the Romans by making a commercial. They exchanged with us 600 soldiers for two of our products. If we had to choose another role I would have choosen to be a barbarian, to be exact I would be the Goths. I wanted to be the Goths because they got revenge from all that misery the Romans made them have. Also because they would be the ones who defeated Rome, but they didn't stay but for three days. My main reason is because I wanted to still be alive and to have been able to defeat the provinces and get their stuff!
All this would have still been fun for me although I would know I would be the bad one. I think it would have been a strong role as well because the Goths were a very big and powerful tribe that had been treated wrong. The Goths were once driven away to their faith from some other tribes who wanted and they had nothing else to do, but leave and ask the Romans for help. The Romans told them they were alowed to stay with if they agreed to some terms. The term included for them to serve in the army an recieve bread, as well as send their children away to be slaves or army workers for just another loaf of bread, sometimes not even a loaf was given! Although the terms siad to give the them bread the Roman emperor didn't give them any because he did not have enough for everybody, I think that if he did not have enough for everyone he should not have taken them in, but he did. So that is just one reason the Goths took revenge on the Romans, they sure did deserve it! So that is why I would have wanted to be the Goths, because they were a big role, but I was still happy with my last role!!
A lot of people remember really vividly the 9- 11 attack that involved 4 U.S airplanes that were a plan of Osama Biladen who had planned to attack the white house , but thankfully he didn't get to that extreme major . Of course I was really little to remember and if any memory had once been in my mind it has faded as the years have gone by.Surely by the things that happened that day the United States will never get that day even as the years go by . I remember last year when it was also a 9-11 of 2011 , that we read a scholastic article about it and many ,maybe hundreds of people lost thier life in this tragic and sad accident in which no one had the reason to die because of that dreadful man .Thankfully Barak Obama has finished with that man who cuased so many cries and sadness in so many peoples lifes who lost a loved one that day !!
I am currently reading a book called ,"Magic Under Glass ,"it is about this trouser girl named Nimira.She originaly came from a faraway called Trishim and she shipped to Loriner in order to seek her fortoune in a new life . She choose to renew her life in Loriner , because her mother had just passed away and they were sent to live with her uncle Sam . Nimira realy didn't like him so she decided to leave to a new place .....she chose loriner because amny people had left to go get to there and said they had gotten a better job and life ,but for her that didn't come true she just went to get her life ruined in the place she had gotten a job at!
Then after a while of working in dancing bar where only the most rich people could be found, she got tired and one day she found a man that had been really intrested in her dancing and singing and offered her a job at his house so she couold sing with a automan he had gotten in a auction . She accepted already knowing that the automan had been huanted and she found that herself a day that she had gone to him to practice.Right now I am in the part where she can know talk to the automan ,he was actually a prince of the fairies that had been enchanted inside of the automan, during a battle with the land fairies and the scorcer's council.She is trying to seek help when she finds out the gentleman who hired her had a wife that supposebly died is actually just crazy........!
Later she is in a mission trying to try to use dark magic by calling the Queen of magic and makig the enchantmen disappear and for Erris , the automan, to once again be in human form or at least find his body to become a soul and leave this crazy city!!! The person who told her how to find the Queen of magic was the very same wife Hollin ,but she is possesed and that is why she is thought to be dead .Really she with orbs all around her so the bad spirits will not get into her! That is so far what I have read and I hope the ending is as good as the middle and end!!!!
