Christmas Break is coming up, and there are many things I am looking forward to. For one, I do not have to wake up early,I can wake up all late at about 11:00 or later. That means I can also sleep late until 12:00, without the reason being homework that is very fun. Also, I can be with my little brother all the time, that way I can play with him and hug him all day. When I am in school I barely have time to talk to him, and then when I come back I have so much homework I can't talk or play with him either. Sometimes I sleep so late I can even spent time at night with him. Also, I do not have to worry about the homework and stuff that is suppose to do, for once I can relax and do what all kids do play and have fun.
I can just imagine all the fun I am going to have. The best thing is going to be being with the family. Having time with them and enjoying this very good and loving holiday. Let us not forget the food there will be too.

I think there were many things and customs that Japan borrowed from China and Korea, on thing that was very important was the religion. They took the idea and concepts of being Buddhist people and having peace. I think this contribution was very important because they escape all their suffering . Buddhism is a religion in where everything was of peace, love, and being much much closer to their god.  With Buddhism there were less problems that caused war. This was because everything was to be solved with peace. Although that is what they believed in sometimes there were some occasional wars.
As  a Buddhist you had to have tranquility and have to respect nature as well as your own kind. When you respected nature you could not step in any little living creature. Not even a bug or a worm!  This was because the people thought that all living things of nature had a soul. All these things made Jpan much more clam and peaceful!

It is 1212, and I am a farmer. Right now I am picking weeds in the field, it may be raining soon, and there might be thunder coming this way, so at least  I hear it coming. OH NO, but today is a very warm and beautiful day it can not rain unless there is one horrible tragedy that will come our way. Oh no!! I see horses not just one, but thousand this can only mean one thing the Mongols are coming our way to attack us, and we will soon die. What should I do??
There is only one thing to do to save our self. I must go get my family and tell my sister to go and prove to them she is a very honorable artist for this tribe and that she can paint and draw many beautiful things. What we have to do is tell the leader that she can do anything for him to prove that she will do for the artist he needs. Considering he will take her we might be able to convince him to let us live with her because we are all very good artists even my brother. We might also tell him we are good at farming as well. Or we can hide in a special place I have made to protect us, and nobody knows about this except my own family. So I go and tell them yo hide they are now underground 20 feet down with food, water, and plenty of furniture. Now there is no way that they will find us.

There are many great achievments that have come from China. Some that I think are very important are paper money, and the smallpox imunation. Paper money was very important. For one thing we still use it today, because that is what we use as our currency. Imagine if there was no paper money, we would have to carry heavy coins around. That to me would be no fun. Also if we did not have paper money, the prices might be higher or even lower. Another thing is that if we did not have money as paper dollars maybe what everything would change, the value of a coin could be less or more than what a dollar is worth. Prices would also have to change to fit in with the new values of money.
Imunation for smallpox is very important as well. For one thing it is something we use today when we go the doctor. It also helped many survive this which probably meant less people died of smallpox. Is it not great that we have stuff like this today to help us be healthy.

I have many things to be thankful for ,but I  will only say my top three. The very first thing that I am thankful is having a good family. A father that does not drink nor smoke, which to me is really important because he doesn't hit our family members like many kids find their family going through that because someone that is really drunk. I am grateful that I have a loving and very hardworking mother that is always there for me and that  always has everything under control. I am also grateful for having an older sister that helps me a lot and that gives me advice so that I will not fall, I also have a younger sister that I give my attention to and that I help in whatever she needs. I also have a very, but very adorable and awsome little brother who is always happy no matter what and that makes me want to do everything in his honor, I really love my whole family!!
I am also grateful for having where to live, shelter, so that I don't get wet when it rains or cold when it is cold outside. I am also grateful that I have enough to eat every single day! I know that there are kids out there that don't have anything to eat and so they go and take things from the trash that they think they can eat that is relly sad.

Griots were West Africa storytellers. The griots were suppose to memorize stories or other things that had to do with the past. They retold this stories to groups  and retold them so vividly and wiht so much emotion. Back then griots were very important and they are still very important today. They were impotrant because they were the people who talke about the past. So they were depended on for what happened in the past. That is how most people learned history by learning the stories of the past told by the griots. That was called oral history brcause it was a spoken record of the past.
This meant that the griots took  records on things they did in that past that is is they even went or took part of that past event that was important or they recorded stories sbout the past they heard or that happened when they were alive. This was possible since they were already a little old, since they were the oldest of most of Africa they were considered wise and people believed their stories.

There are so many things about fall that I love, Halloween, My mom's, brother's and dad's birthday, Thanksgiving and thanksgiving Break. One thing I like is Halloween, which just happened to be yesterday. I like that we get to dress-up for Halloween both at home and at school, how cool right. I also like that we get a lot of candy and  we don't get a lot of homework so it is sure a good day.I also like that there are so many birthday parties in my family during the fall, so we gwt a lot of cake, and very good food!
There is also Thanksgiving! What I like is that we gwt to be in a big family reunion, and that we get to see each other finally after  a long time. I also like it because we get a long Thanksgiving breack, in which we do not get homework and if we do we get whole days to do it. Also we get to do whatever we want, sleep late, wakeup late and so on.

Iron

The discovery of iron changed Africa in many ways. One way was that they made tools for farming which made harvesting faster and easier. It also made better weapons that the armies used which were much harder than wood. Another way was that they were able to trade iron for things such as gold and salt, which back then was worth risking their lives. Anyway it really helped devlope their life skills and tools since the tools were stronger and lasted longer.
One thing made them better because of the iron was because when they farmed  and harvested crops it woulg go so much quicker since the iron didn't break as easily nor as fast. That was the reason they started getting more and more food which got them real happy because they were able to have enough food for them and sometimes extra. The tool that they used for that was a farm tool, discovered by Noks.

I think that the hardest place to live in would have to be the desert in Africa. The first reason would be because there is not much water, and the main thing you need to survive is water and if you don't have water you will get dehydrated. It is also very hard to live there because there will be times where sandstorms form, lasting sometimes for hours. What is the most dangerous in this case is that you don't have shelter, it is really hard to survive. Another main thing is food, and sometimes there is scarecly any food to eat and there is enough you may only take a little because you wil want to save some for when  you ar e tired or to save it for when you don't have anymore left.
It is also that if you are sick and have a diseace you might die becasue there will bw no one to help you or to cure for at least .

Trade

Trade helped  Islam spread becuase traders talked about their religion and most people agreed to what the Qu'ran siad and the rules about Islam. One thing that helped Islam spread by trade was that Mecca was a crossroad location so most people couls come to trade from other places and that meant that there was so amny people trading and staying in Mecca, that it was a good apportunity about telling the people that came to trade about Islam and what kind of rules it was devoting to.
Another thing that helped Islam spread was that it was a peninsula, that meant you could travel thereby land or by sea and that also attracted a lot of traders. The main thing was that when someone came to trade they alos traded ideas and ways of thinking . So that meant that the people that talked to each other also talked about religion, so they traded ideas of hot their religions were and so people converted and became Muslims.
