This Sunday it is going to be St. Patric'ks Day! I have to be sure that I wear green that day or else I am going to get pinched by so many people! Anyways there is a very important history about Saint Patrick. He was born in England and then captured in Ireland. He escaped being a prisoner and he went to his home land again. Once more though he returned to Ireland to save those people. He saved them by bringing Christianity there. He introduced the religion to the people there, hoping that they would convert to Christianity.
Most people liked him so much that they created a day for him and that is Saint Patrick's Day. I am not sure why we have to wear green or why people pinch you if you are not wearing green. To me that is nonsense. Anyway I have to wear green Sunday, I hop I do not forget. I also want to finish all my homework today so that my family and I can go out during the weekend. It is finally Friday. It has been a very tiring week, but it is going to be okay because then we get to rest for three days. Technically only two days but if you use your time wisely then it will be three days of rest. I do not have so much homework today I only have to do my Cornell notes that are due Monday, and I have to work on my presentation for Computers. Hopefully I will get that done today so that I do not have to worry so much about it over the weekend.
I still don't know where I am going this weekend, but I am sure that it will be fun, just like every weekend. I am also happy today because it is the last show of a novela that I see every day at 8:00 pm. I hope that I get a good rest, because I have been really tired lately.
This weekend I do not have a lot of homework, but I do have a project to finish. We are suppose to figure the width of the dollar after it was shrunken to 75% nine times. I have already started my visual concept, but I have not done the written report. So this weekend and today I am going to finish this project and turn it in as a written report or as a presentation format.
I am still not sure what I am going to do, but I am sure that I will do a good job. The thing is that if you have a really good grade, but then you get a bad grade on this project, you will probably get your grade brought down. That is because, the projects are worth more for your grade than quizzes or homework. So, we have to be really careful about that.
Hopefully I will do good, and I will have a good weekend. Have a good Friday everyone, because I know I will! I will relax after I have finished my project. I hope the hard work will pay off with a good grade!
Today it is finally Friday, and it is going good so far. That means I have a lot of homework, but at the same it is less than usual. I am so happy it is Friday because I am tired and I want to go to sleep early today. The bad thing is that we do not have Monday off and that is bad because then we have a lot more homework than usual. The good thing about that is that there is Late start on Thursday next week.
I am very excited to see my brother today because I miss him so much when I am in school. I have a surprise to give him and I know that he is going to be very happy today. I am also going to try to spend as much time as I can with him so that he will be happy. I am probably just going to watch movies and eat popcorn with him today. I also am planning to go to the park with him sometime this weekend.
I am also happy because today it has been very sunny and it has not rained. I hope I have a good weekend and that the weather stays like this. Happy Friday everyone.
Today it is Friday again and I am so tired. Today we will have to run a mile and s half for P.E and that is really hard. I mean isn't it hard to run when it is hot and after you have already gone to six classes? There are two major problems for having to run today. For one I have P.E after lunch and sometimes that does not go well because your stomach starts to feel weird and then the next thing you know is that you are feeling everything you ate start to come back up. That is a bad feeling.
Then after I run I have to go to Edison to Orchestra and then back that is very tiring and more after a tiring day. You are lucky you are not me. Anyway this week we have a three day weekend again and I am going to enjoy it. After this there won't be as many days off school anymore, so I have to enjoy it even more. The good thing is that I did not get as much homework as before the weekends.
This week I have improved my grades too and boy am I happy, and that makes my parents happy, too. Yesterday it was Valentine's Day and I got my friends something special, and they gave me gifts, too. This whole week has been very good and I have not been so stressed about school so much, that is very good. Especially for me since I over worry about everything. That makes me even more stressed. Anyway have a good weekend everybody, I bet I will.
If you remember in a past post, I wrote about my dog's puppies being born. It has now been two weeks since that day and my puppies are so huge. They are so adorable, they are so cuddly, fluffy and cute. They have grown so much though they are bigger than my hands, and usually after two weeks they are just about the size of my hand, but this time they are already bigger. They have also opened their eyes, which was pretty soon.
Anyway I am so happy, because when they start walking I am going to be able to teach tricks and show them how to eat and drink by themselves. Sometimes I am not able to do that because I have to much homework and sometimes things are more important than others. We must deal with doing what we have to do first then doing what we want to do that is always a rule we must follow.So, I hope I don't get as much homework as I have lately. Lately, I have been going to sleep so late not because I want to, but not because I want to,.
Finally it is Friday and there is going to be a three- day weekend again. Let the fun begin!!
Wow, it has been really hard keeping my grades up so that I can get a 4.0 GPA. The reward though was worth it. I went to Boomers yesterday with my dad and my older sister. It was really fun even though we only got to play a few games. The best though was the Go- Karts. It was so cold though. We also got to play in the dance mats that was fun.
We had to wait almost an hour to get to the Go- Karts, because there were so many people cutting in line. I thought that was not fair. There, I got to ride with my dad on a double Kart. He was screaming and yelling and having a great time and so was I. It felt do weird and so cool at the same time.It was cool when we were driving, I felt like my hands and nose were going to freeze. Then when I got off the ride I felt a little dizzy.
Then when my sister got on we saw that she was a pretty good driver. It was like a reward for her too, because she has been very good. I think that yesterday was a very fun day. I saw my dad ans sister like I had never seen them before. I hope I get to go again very soon!!
I personally between the previous and new activity we are doing think that the Microsft videos helps me learn better. I think that the Ribbon Hero is confusing because it goes in to a little bit of at a time, and the Microsoft explains to you with examples and it technically it is teaching you things from the same concept, and it rarely goes off about a different product we are using. I also don't like how you can't remember what you learned because it is all kind of confusing when it goes from PowerPoint then to Microsoft and then Excel, I would prefer to have by levels, but also by product. That way you know where you are at.
I think it weird that they are just teaching you or expecting you to find it. It doesn't even let you review anything it just kind of skips around to just anything accordingly to what they have in the little problems. I would certainly like it better if it were like My Digital Life.
This Wednesday at about 1:00 am I started hearing my sister's dog. I got really crept out because you know how they say dogs can see ghosts and stuff like that. Well, she started growling and howling and then crying for about 5 minutes. Then I was fully awake and remembered she was going to have her babies this week, so I jumped out of bed and went to see her. As I walked in I saw that her first puppy was already born, a beautiful light brown big puppy was very healthy and chubby. So I went to get my parents because I knew that I could not help her give birth by myself.
So I ran out of the room and told my parents our dog was having her puppies. They both got up and told me they were going to be right there they just had to get their shoes on. So then my sisters thought I was lying, so they didn't wake up until both my parents were in the room looking into the restroom. They both woke up and went straight to where we were, than my big sister said that she was sleepy and tired, I mean who would not be at 1 am, right. So she left to my moms room and slept.
I thought that was fine because the two previous times she had been the one who helped our dog give birth so this time it was my turn to help. That morning my dad slept in our room since he got sleep in between each puppy. My other sister and brother were also in my parent's room with my mom, Both me and my dad stayed up calming our dog down so that she was not so nervous. Any way I stayed up until 3:45 am and my dad did not sleep till we had all our puppies.
Now we have 5 more young animals in our lives who we will love. She had 4 males and, 1 female. I am going to be so loving and caring to them and will be with them all through their young times!
I am so happy today for so many reasons. First of all, there is no school Monday, so that means I can wake up late and I don't have to worry about any homework. I am just going to do all my homework today or tomorrow so that I don't have to do my homework on Sunday or Monday. Also, I am going to be able to be with my family another full extra day than usual. I can also sleep a lot more than usual, that is fairly nice when you have a lot of homework during the week.
I am also happy because I didn't get a lot of homework today. That is so good because usually I get a lot of homework. Having a rest is always nice. That is also good because I can enjoy the day knowing that I will not have to stay Saturday or Sunday in my house worrying about homework or projects. It is so nice to have a relaxing and warm afternoon.
It is going to feel so good not having to wake up so early and having to go to school when it is very cold. Now I can relax, sleep early, and be with my family more time. I hope I have fun these three days that way I'll start the week really good, and freshly minded. I love having days off there is only one problem though........ we don't have a late start. That is bad because that is usually the day I look most often to.
For one it closer to Friday. It is also a day we can rest an hour more on a school day! Anyway I am going to rest and have fun in our three day weekend!
